About the Founder

Leo Sachs is a junior at Piedmont High School captivated by neuroscience and psychology. He created MindMatters to make cognitive science accessible to students and teens — breaking down research, therapy, and mental health into concepts anyone can understand. When he’s not exploring the cognitive sciences, you’ll find him rock climbing, playing guitar, performing with the Troubadours, or cooking up gourmet meals.
